The 2nd ICRAMC-2018 will be held in SRM University campus, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India during 14-16 February 2018.Recent Advances in material Chemistry is a multifaceted topic dealing with the discovery and designing of new materials. Many of the most pressing scientific problems humans currently face are due to limitations of materials and hence a breakthrough in material science has a significant impact on future of technology. Research in material Chemistry is vibrant and consists of many asponserships. The main objective of this conference is to provide platform for constructive ideas on recent trends and innovative approaches in efficient use of materials in the field of Chemistry. The program of action includes twelve technical sessions covering the thrust areas by the invited talks and contributed lectures delivered by the experts who have expertise in materials globally in the field of Chemistry. This conference would bring together interdisciplinary teams to share their experience, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of materials and focus on the integration of new technologies to provide solutions to existing and anticipated challenges. Additionally there will be several oral and poster presentations will be selected and awarded.

About the Department
Department of Chemistry, SRM University has been engaged in opening up the fascinating world of Chemistry to students since 1985. The Department is supported by DST FIST, Govt of India. The Department is offering B.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Chemistry) and Ph.D (Chemistry) programs. It has over 42 faculty members whose areas of expertise and research include organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, environmental, electrochemistry and nanotechnology. The faculty members of the department have contributed to academics by publishing books, research articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, presenting papers in conferences delivering guest lectures and invited talks. The department has tie-ups with recognized institutions, industries and R&D laboratories for student projects, training and research activities.
